Good question. No, I’m not British. I got screwed on my facebook vanity URL. This is how it began…
I went out on the night the facebook vanity URL’s went public and didn’t get in till late. I ended up registering late and missing my ideal choices:

- www.facebook.com/stevengregory
- www.facebook.com/steven.gregory
I got angry about the permanent missed opportunity and just chose a crazy name. The name was based partly off my admiration of the ancient Japanese Ninja and Samurai culture and partly because I just got back from a trip to London and was using British phrases in my daily conversations for fun, which wore off after a week or so.
Thus Ninja Bloke was born. I chose it as my facebook vanity URL and now it’s the name of my website. A truly profound story indeed.
